Sponge palladium, is grey, spongy and pure metal on which there
isn’t any inclusion that can be seen. Its density is 12.16g/cc,
melting point is 1553℃. With good plasticity, palladium is easy to
be gorged, rolled and drawn into wires. The chemical property of
palladium is not lively. In the air or moist environment, it is
steady, and it is difficult to change even if it is heated to very
high temperature. Palladium is inoperative with dilute acids, but
can be dissolved in water. The hydrogen absorbing ability of
palladium is rather large.
Use:
It is used in hydrogen purification devices in large quantities, in
which hydrogen can be separated and purified to the purity of 6N
with alloy tubes or membranes of palladium, silver, gold and
nickel. With low contact resistance, good wear-resisting,
corrosion-resisting and stability, palladium-silver alloys can be
used to make accurate resistance elements and electric contact
materials. The palladium-silver thick liquid materials are used in
the manufacturing of thick membrane circuits. Package: Stored in
the plastic or glass bottles sealed with plastic lids.
Transportation & Use:
In the course of transportation, attentions must be paid to prevent
damp, pollution and collision or break of the pack bottles. In the
course of using, attentions must be paid to prevent pollution.
